Clear ensures that we protect our members’ privacy through the strictest controls and policies. With this in mind, we have contracted Ernst & Young LLP Technology and Security Risk Services to conduct a yearly independent privacy audit to evaluate Clear based on the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) privacy framework.

On June 24, 2007, Ernst & Young LLP completed the first independent privacy audit of a national registered traveler program. During its extensive four month review, Ernst & Young LLP examined the following components of our program:

• Clear’s privacy policy, controls and procedures
• Clear’s compliance with its stated privacy policy
• Clear employees’ privacy policy training and compliance
• Clear’s system design
• Clear’s data retention, integrity and security policies and procedures

In its findings, Ernst & Young LLP certified that we comply with the promises made in our privacy policy and that Clear succeeds in protecting members’ personal information.
