Clear® and DIA Open Airport Enrollment Station for Security Fast Pass

Additional Enrollment Stations in Development for Airport and Downtown-Area to Meet Demand from Denver Travelers

DENVER, DECEMBER, 11 2007 – Clear®, the fast pass through airport security at airports nationwide, and Denver International Airport (DIA) announced today that a Clear enrollment center is now open at the airport. In early January, multiple enrollment stations will open at the airport pre- and post-security, and at off-site locations downtown, to maximize convenience for Denver residents. Clear will begin operation of the express security lanes at the airport later in January.

The enrollment station opening this morning is located on the airport’s south side (pre-security) and will be open daily from 6:30am–3:30pm.

Clear CEO Steven Brill said, “In the month or so since DIA announced that Clear would operate the fast security lanes at the airport, we have seen tremendous demand from both Denver residents and businesses. The DIA staff has worked hard to get this program up and running ahead of schedule and is dedicated to providing the best service offerings to their customers.  And, with the strategic partnerships we’ve established with travel industry leaders such as American Express, and Carlson Wagonlit Travel, the largest travel management company in Denver, the Denver Clear operation will be one of our largest.”

Major Denver-area businesses have been working with Clear to begin enrollment for their travelers in anticipation of the service launching at the airport.

“Clear is about creating greater efficiency and time savings for our busy clients as they travel around the world,” said DJ Greenagel, Carlson Wagonlit’s VP of Account Management for the Western Region. “At Carlson Wagonlit, we have made sure our clients are aware of Clear because of how well it helps business travelers to better manage their time while traveling and to ease the hassles of travel.”

Clear member Daniel Notov said, “I use my Clear card when traveling through San Francisco, San José and other airports throughout the U.S. and I’m thrilled that DIA has now brought Clear to my home airport. With my unpredictable schedule, Clear takes the stress and hassle out of the travel experience. I can’t imagine not having Clear at every airport and expect that other major airports will sign on soon.”

Last week, Clear opened its first Denver enrollment station at the Hyatt Regency Tech Center. Additional enrollment locations in the downtown area are in the final stages of planning for early January openings.

Travelers can begin the application process at flyclear.com before visiting a Clear enrollment center. To complete the process, applicants must bring two pieces of government-issued identification (passport and driver’s license are strongly recommended) to the Clear enrollment center.

Clear cards are currently accepted at Albany, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Little Rock, Orlando, Reno, San Francisco, San José and Westchester County (NY) airports and at selected security lanes at New York’s JFK, LaGuardia and Newark airports.

To date, every airport that has selected a provider in an open, competitive process has chosen Clear.  Other major airports that are currently completing their selection process and about to launch programs include Reagan and Dulles airports in the Washington D.C. area, Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and the Oakland (CA) International Airport.

About Clear – Verified Identity Pass’s Clear program has enrolled over 85,000 travelers and operates lanes at 11 U.S. airports. Clear members are pre-screened and provided with a high-tech card which allows them to access designated security lanes nationwide. Clear members pass through the security checkpoint faster, with more predictability and less hassle. The annual fee of $99.95 is charged once applicants are approved by the government.
