Clear Announces Partnership with Travel Retailer Flight 001 and Unveils Holiday Gift Cards

NEW YORK, NY December 3, 2007 – Clear®, the leading service provider of express security lanes at U.S. airports, announced today that it has signed an agreement with travel retailer Flight 001. Flight 001 will sell pre-boxed Clear gift cards at all seven of its U.S. stores – Manhattan, Brooklyn (2), Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Berkeley. Clear gift cards are also available online at flyclear.com.

Flight 001 (pronounced Flight One) was founded in 1998 as an all inclusive, design forward retail experience to make preparing for travel easier. The Flight 001 stores feature products displayed on rounded walls resembling the fuselage of a jet airliner. This environment is intended to make travel shopping as streamlined as flight itself.

“Flight 001 specializes in innovative travel products, and we’re delighted that our Clear Gift Cards will be among its offerings this Holiday Season and throughout the year,” Clear’s Senior Vice President of Corporate Development Allison Beer said.

“Our online sales of the Gift Card are outpacing expectations and we expect that they will quickly become a powerful sales channel.  Flight 001’s convenient locations also allow us to expand our reach into markets where there is pent up demand for registered traveler but not yet a program, like Chicago and Los Angeles.  Fliers in those cities, who frequent the cities in the national Clear network, can get a jump on enrollment at flyclear.com and complete the process the next time they fly to a Clear airport.”

Founder of Flight 001 Brad John said, “Our mission has been to provide the most comprehensive array of the best travel products all in one place, and Clear, which improves the flier’s experience by saving time and avoiding hassle at the security checkpoint, is a great fit.  We’re delighted to be selling Clear to our customers.”

Clear cards are currently accepted at Albany, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, LaGuardia, Little Rock, New York’s JFK, Newark, Orlando, Reno, San Francisco, San José and Westchester County (NY) airports, and soon, Denver. Atlanta, Denver, Dulles, Reagan and Oakland Airports are among those expected to launch the program early this winter.
