Enrollment for Clear® Fast Pass Launches at Salt Lake City International Airport; Lanes to Launch Next Month

SALT LAKE CITY, UT April 29, 2008 – Clear®, the fast pass for airport security, announced that it has opened a Clear enrollment station at Salt Lake City International Airport in anticipation of its fast lane launch in May. All airlines operating from Salt Lake City, and their passengers, will be able to use Clear’s fast pass lanes next month. Clear has now signed up over 145,000 people nationwide.  The Clear enrollment station is located in Terminal 2 on the ticketing level (adjacent to the escalators used to access the security checkpoint). Current hours of operation are 6am–3pm weekdays.

“With Clear, Salt Lake City fliers will be able to get through security in just a few minutes – both at their home airport and a growing number of airports nationwide,” said Allison Beer, Clear’s SVP of Corporate Development. “The initial response from the business community has been enthusiastic and we’re ready to meet the demand for enrollment on site at area businesses,” Beer added.

“We’re pleased to see Salt Lake City get the registered traveler program,” said Mike Cameron, CEO, Christopherson Business Travel and Vice President of the Utah Business Travel Association. “We manage the travel for over 600 Utah based companies. The additional time required to get through security at the airport has placed a burden upon our business clientele. The best part about the Clear program is predictability – Clear members know that they can get through airport security in a short consistent time, allowing our business travelers to be more productive at work.”

Already, Clear has signed up over 500 Salt Lake City residents (145,000 nationwide) at flyclear.com. Those customers, and other Salt Lake applicants, will soon receive the time-saving, convenient benefits of their Clear card at their home airport.

Clear members are pre-screened by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and, after application approval, are provided with a card that allows exclusive access to Clear’s security lanes nationwide. The innovative, high-tech Clear Card verifies a fingerprint or iris image selected by members during enrollment.

Clear currently operates 30 enrollment stations across the country and also brings mobile enrollment onsite to businesses nationwide. New Clear openings can be found at flyclear.com/enrollment
