Clear Lane Used Over 10,000 Times in Little Rock; Clear Members Show Enthusiasm as Airport Security Fast Pass Program Reaches Milestone
LITTLE ROCK, AR – APRIL 28, 2008 – Clear®, the fast pass for airport security, announced that the Clear lane has been used more than 10,000 times at the Little Rock National Airport, since the program began last summer. Clear has signed up over 145,000 people nationwide.
“Clear’s Registered Traveler service is an important part of our effort at Little Rock National Airport to improve the customer experience. We are happy this service is growing and are committed to working with Clear and the Little Rock community to expand these efforts,” said Ron Mathieu, interim executive director.
“The Clear lane traffic is consistently growing month over month at Little Rock – users here have been happy with their participation in the program ever since we opened our doors,” said Allison Beer, Clear’s SVP of Corporate Development.
“With our recent announcement that Clear received over 5,000 applications nationwide in one week, Little Rock has been a big part of that upswing. New airports add value to the Clear membership, but the people in Little Rock want to know that they can get through airport security in just a few minutes and they can do that at Little Rock Airport with Clear,” Beer added.
Members at the Little Rock Clear lanes weigh in about their experience:
“Clear allows me to spend more time with my family and less in line at the airport.”
Todd Gilbert, Clear Member
“Clear is a life saver at the Little Rock Airport! A tremendous rain storm on the morning of a recent departure caused me to run late; however, Clear saved the day – from the courteous staff placing my items in the bins, to the instant identification at the kiosk, then whisking me through to the metal detectors. What a great start to my business day! I wish Clear was at airports that I frequent in Texas. It is well worth the money!”
Lisa Wooten, Clear member
“As an executive that travels out of Little Rock every other week to support a growing national client base, Clear has taken the variance out of my airport experience and allows me to know exactly what to expect when I get to the airport. I would highly recommend it for anyone with frequent travels.”
Rod Ford, Clear Member
Clear members are pre-screened by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and, after application approval, are provided with a card that allows exclusive access to Clear’s security lanes nationwide. The innovative, high-tech Clear Card verifies a fingerprint or iris image selected by members during enrollment.
Clear operates 30 enrollment stations across the country and also brings mobile enrollment onsite to businesses nationwide. Clear will soon launch at Salt Lake City Airport. The Atlanta Airport expects to launch a fast pass program there soon. Clear Cards will be accepted in Atlanta no matter what provider the Airport selects.
