Review membership requirements and the list of acceptable pieces of identification before you begin.
Step One: Online Enrollment
During online enrollment you will create a Clear account, agree to our Terms and Conditions, select a payment method, and enter biographic information requested by the TSA. We recommend that you complete the online portion of the application on your home or office computer before visiting a Clear enrollment station. We suggest having the following information available during online enrollment:
- Driver's license number
- Previous home addresses for the past five years
- Social Security number
- Alien registration number (permanent foreign residents only)
- A current credit card (Your credit card will not be charged until you complete in-person enrollment, are accepted into the program and are issued your Clear card.)
To help you complete enrollment, Clear will be sending you two emails.
- After you start online enorllment you will get an email, with the subject 'You Have Created a Clear Account'. It contains information about your Clear account and links to help you access your account.
- A second email with the subject 'Clear Online Enrollment Complete' will ONLY be sent once you are finished with online enrollment.
The last screen of online enrollment is titled 'Online Enrollment is Complete! ". After you get to that screen you should retrieve your emails. If you don't get these emails, check your spam filter or call us at (866) 848-2415 to have the emails re-sent.
Step Two: In-Person Enrollment
This portion of your application can be completed at any Clear enrollment station. A Clear attendant will verify your identification, capture images of your irises and fingerprints, and take your photograph. To complete this step you will need your Clear account number and
at least two pieces of approved government-issued identification. A US passport is strongly recommended.
